RiverDay Revival – Saturday 14th June 2pm till 8pm – Long Meadow Swinbrook
There will be masses to do for all age groups.
- The famous Raft Race will be taking place this year on the river Windrush, and the theme is Revival.
- Our Famous Duck Race with some super prizes to be won
- A fun dog show – This is being run by local business Windrush Dog Grooming & WFS Country Shop. Just bring your dog along on the day and enter the category that suits them (or you!) best.
- Bouncy Castle, Welly Winging, Splat the Rat, Guess the number of sweets and many more fun activities
- The ever-popular stocks, complete with many soggy sponges to throw – shall we reveal who’s the target this year? Maybe not yet…
- The tombola, of course. This is a village fête after all.
- Teas, cakes, bar, ice creams, & barbecue
- Classic cars display – another fête first!
- The fire engine! Of course! (Emergencies permitting).
- Tug of war across the River Windrush
